MODERNISASI PENDIDIKAN PESANTREN DI PONDOK PESANTREN SUNAN DRAJAT LAMONGAN

Abstract

The scattered existence of Islamic boarding schools shows changes with the growth and development of education throughout Indonesia. The existence of an Islamic boarding school and school system in Islamic boarding schools shows ideal integration. The Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School in Lamongan also contributes to the expansion of Islamic boarding school education and does not neglect the flow of modernization in continuing knowledge in life. The aim is to develop the quality of education as a basis for implementing social transformation through providing modernization of the educational curriculum and modernization of learning and facilities in Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, it is important to have Islamic boarding school education which is also integrated with schools as a form of existence in keeping up with the challenges of the times.
