Abstract

There are quite a few Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia currently running and developing Tahfidz Al-Qur'an programs. Various methods and various strategies are used by an institution to create quality memorizers of the Koran. Even though actually memorizing the Qur'an is not an easy thing, there are many difficulties and failures can also be felt, but the educational institution will still try to provide strategies to make the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program that has been established a success. . In order for the implementation of the tahfidz program to run smoothly, the role of the Principal is very much needed as a stakeholder in educational institutions so that they can provide ideas, strategies and make strategic decisions
