Abstract

Education is an important thing for our life. With education, we will be free from the ignorance that shackles humanity and lead us in a better direction. In an effort to develop education, an educational institution is needed to run and manage the learning system so that the education received by students can be maximized and optimal and run effectively and efficiently. In an education institutions, a leader or head of the school is needed who can lead well, is wise and capable in solving problems, can protect all members of the school. Among the positive attitudes thet a headmaster must have, one of the attitudes that a leader must have is the ability to manage himself, because before someone can lead others, he must be able to lead or manage himself. Self management is a procedure by which individuals regulate their own behavior. Self management of a headmaster is very important for the success of an organization, the good and bad things or behavior of a headmaster is a direction or example for all members of the organization
