Actually, there are many factors that affect the low performance of teachers, including the lack of attention of a principal in supervising teacher performance in teacher work discipline, for example: Rarely communicate in carrying out their respective duties and roles. Within the Educational Institution it is better to cooperate with each other in achieving the goals of the school institution. The principal is the highest level leader in the school, therefore the importance of the principal's strategy in developing teacher performance in order to optimize teacher performance and create good students in their education
