Abstract

MTs. Mathlabul Huda Weru Paciran Lamongan that the institution has a unique and interesting curriculum development, one form of curriculum development in MTs institutions. Mathlabul Huda Weru Paciran Lamongan seen from the subjects that were added such as lessons on ahlu sunnah wal jama'ah, tarikh or Islamic history, uhsul fiqh and musthola hadith, in this institution it seems so thick with religious education referring to Nahdlatul Ulama' which applies the values ​​of the teachings of ahlu sunnah wal jama'ah in the form of knowledge, attitudes, and also various activities outside of class hours, this development is carried out in accordance with the vision of the institution, namely "The realization of students who excel, based on IMTAQ and IMTEK and have good morals" this is an added value to produce superior and well-mannered students by forming religious character, where this institution emphasizes religious character education, as previously explained this institution brings the values ​​of NU-an ahlu sunnah wal jama'ah and uniquely the geographical location of this institution is in the middle of the Muhammadiyah community where the institution is surrounded by a community that adheres to the Muhammadiyah ideology while the MTs institution. Mathlabul Huda Weru Paciran Lamongan stands alone in the region with the characteristics of Nahdlatul Ulama' which is very proud, through observation the author found information that from the development of the curriculum not a few of the people around the area of ​​the institution viewed it well and not a single community protested that there was a Nahdlatul Ulama' educational institution that stood in the midst of the Muhammadiyah community even the children who were predominantly Muhammadiyah did not hesitate to send their children to the MTs. Mathlabul Huda Weru Paciran Lamongan institution. This is an extraordinary achievement obtained by the institution, namely being accepted among the majority Muhammadiyah community
