Authorship Criteria
Conseils: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam follows the authorship criteria of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). An individual qualifies for authorship only if they meet all of the following criteria:
1. Made a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the study, or to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data.
2. Drafted the manuscript or revised it critically for important intellectual content.
3. Approved the final version of the manuscript to be published.
4. Agreed to be accountable for all aspects of the work, including its accuracy and integrity.
Contributors who do not meet all of these criteria should be listed in the Acknowledgments section. Examples include those who provided funding, technical assistance, or general supervision.
The corresponding author is responsible for all communication with the journal during the review process and after publication. Any change to the order or number of authors after submission must be approved in writing by all authors and communicated to the editor. Ghost authorship and gift authorship are not permitted.
